2026 Summer Meal Program Information for Families

Starting around June 1, families can use two tools to find nearby sites serving no-cost meals for children 18 and younger ─ VISIT SummerFood.org or CALL 2-1-1. In addition to locating a site, it’s important to frequently use these tools to confirm dates and times and gather more information about meal services.

Program Overview

Granbury ISD has partnered with Neighbors feeding Neighbors to bring meals for all children in the community, students enrolled in a school program for the mentally or physically disabled, and persons under 21 years of age enrolled in a Residential Child Care Institution (RCCI). Distribution site dates will be Monday thru Thursday, June 2, 2026- June 25, 2026, as well as, July 6, 2026 - July 16, 2026.

Important Information

Free summer meals are available Monday-Thursday: June 2 - June 25, and July 6 - July 16, to all kids age 18 and under! To receive a meal, come to any site during serving time. Only one meal per child and child MUST be present to receive the meal.

Las comidas de verano gratuitas están disponibles de lunes a jueves: Del 2 al 25 de junio y del 6 al 16 de julio para todos los niños menores de 18 años. Para recibir una comida, venga a cualquier sitio durante el tiempo de servicio. Sólo una comida por niño y el niño debe estar presente para recibir la comida.
