Pathways to Excellence

 

Pathways to Excellence is Granbury ISD's professional growth framework designed to support employees as they learn, lead, and advance throughout their careers. Through intentional development opportunities and "Grow Your Own" pathways, we are committed to building leadership capacity from within and preparing the next generation of TeamGISD leaders.

 

We are launching Pathways to Excellence with leadership development opportunities and will continue expanding the framework to include additional career pathways and professional learning experiences in the future.

 

 

 

Designed for current teachers and other campus-based professionals who are interested in exploring future leadership opportunities, this program provides a strong foundation in educational leadership. Participants will develop the knowledge, skills, and mindset needed to prepare for future roles such as instructional coach, assistant principal, or other campus leadership positions.

 

Designed for current assistant principals and experienced educators who aspire to serve as campus principals, this program prepares participants for the next step in their leadership journey. Through targeted learning and practical application, participants will strengthen their skills in instructional leadership, organizational management, strategic decision-making, and leading a thriving campus culture.

 

 

This program is a collaborative leadership development initiative designed to grow future system leaders through authentic district problem-solving, shared leadership, and stakeholder engagement.  Participants will lead cross-functional action teams focused on solving meaningful district problems aligned to TeamGISD priorities and Board goals while developing systems-thinking leadership skills. This is not traditional professional development. This is leadership through action.
