Candidate Filing
Granbury ISD school board candidates and officeholder filing applications may be obtained from the office of Davelyn Davis, Assistant to the Superintendent, in the Granbury ISD Administration Building, 217 N. Jones St., Granbury TX 76048. Application forms include applications for a place on the ballot as well as campaign finance reports. Candidates and officeholders are responsible for the accuracy and timeliness of all filings. Current state law requires a candidate for trustees of an independent school district to be a qualified voter by the time required, as prescribed by Election Code Section 141.001. Candidates may file in person during the following office hours: Monday, July 22 through Thursday, July 26 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and Monday, August 5 through Friday, August 16 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Candidates may also file electronically via email [email protected].
Voter Registration
Voter registration information is available at https://www.votetexas.gov/register-to-vote/. The last day to register to vote is Monday, October 7, 2023.
Early Voting
Early voting begins on Monday, October 21 and ends on Friday, November 1. Early voting dates and times are listed below and will take place at the Hood County Annex located at 1410 W. Pearl Street in Granbury, TX 76048.
