Bonjour! My name is Don Davis. I teach the French language and culture here at Granbury high school. I teach French I, II, III, and IV, grades 9-12. I have taught French, English, and secondary math. I have lived in Quebec, Canada for several years, where I became experienced with the Quebecois/ French language and culture. I am now in my ninth year of teaching. Prior to teaching, I worked and retired from the U.S. Postal Service after forty years. My last position with the Postal Service was Postmaster at the Clifton, Texas office. I have lived in various parts of the United States, but I call Lubbock, Texas home. I attended Texas Tech University where I studied French, Petroleum Engineering, and Technical Writing. I will complete a Masters's degree in World Languages with an emphasis on French at the University of Southern Mississippi this May 2022. I have chaperoned several educational trips to Europe with my students, providing them with a once-in-a-lifetime experience. I graduated from Lubbock Monterey high school in the class of '73. I am married to Debra Davis and I have three children and two grandchildren.
