Bonjour! My name is Don Davis. I teach French here at Granbury high school. I teach French I, II, III, and IV, grades 9-12. I have taught French, English, and secondary math. I have lived in Quebec Canada for several years where I became experienced with the Quebecois/ French language and culture. I am now in my eighth year of teaching. I taught most recently at Hill Jr. College and with the Texas Juvenile Justice Department. Prior to teaching I worked and retired from the U.S. Postal Service after forty years. My last position with the Postal Service was Postmaster at the Clifton Texas office. I have lived in various parts of the United States, but I call Lubbock Texas home. I attended Texas Tech University where I studied French, Petroleum Engineering, and Technical Writing. I am also currently doing graduate studies in world languages with an emphasis on French at the University of Southern Mississippi. I attended Lubbock Monterey high school. I am married to Debra Davis and I have three children and two grandchildren. My youngest child, Connor, is a junior at Texas Tech University.
