Hello!!!

I am so happy you're here! I am even more excited that your child is in my class!!! Being a teacher is a dream come true for me!!! I see teaching as a mission field, allowing me to pour into the next generation of leaders for our country and our world. I believe in teaching the whole child- not solely focusing on academics, but social and emotional learning as well.

This is my fifth year working at OWS and my third year teaching 2nd grade!!! I absolutely love second graders- they are so funny, silly,  smart, and so cute!!! I cannot wait to get to know your child and help them to grow in character, reading, math, and FUN!

I graduated from Stephen F. Austin in 2007 with a degree in Interior Design!! After doing that for a few years, I decided to stay home with our children. Then, I went back to get my teaching certificate and was so thrilled when I became an OWS teacher!! My children have all attended OWS and it truly is like no other school! This school is filled with joy, love, fun lessons, and good character! 

I am married to my high school sweetheart of 16 years (this fall) and we have 5 children!! I love baking, hanging by my pool, walking, playing games, good food, football and mostly hanging out with my family!! We attend Stonewater church and are a part of the kids/youth ministry there as well.

This year is going to be the BEST YEAR EVER as we move mountains together!!! Please feel free to reach out at any time!
