Mrs. Cypert
Hello! I am Stephanie Cypert and this is my second year in Granbury ISD and my 10th year in education.
A little about me: I began my teaching journey as an instructional aide in 8th grade science. Even though my college journey led me down the arts path, I found a new love for science and discovery! I began my student teaching in 5th grade science. After graduation, I earned my first teaching position as a 3rd grade teacher in Red Oak ISD. I taught all subjects, but planned science for our team.
I taught 3rd grade again in Venus ISD and Joshua ISD. I found my second love while teaching 4th grade reading and writing in JISD. I loved guiding and nurturing student's interests in literature and expressing themselves through their writing. Last year at GISD, I taught 5th grade science. This fueled my love for watching kids explore the world around them and make self-discoveries through asking questions and experimentation. There really isn't anything like it!
Now, here we are, full circle.I am back where it all started in 3rd grade, and I could NOT be happier. My goal is to make this year in 3rd grade engaging and fun, while also maintaining a high expectation of academic excellence. I want to motivate and inspire students to continue to question and explore the world around them, long after they have left my classroom.
I can't wait to meet you and start this amazing school year with my new 3rd grade family!
