This will be my 27th year as a teacher and coach.Though I am entering my fourth year at Granbury High School, I have lived in Granbury for twelve years I have a wife of 26 years named Cindi who teaches for Godley I.S.D. and two daughters: Lauren 18 and starting college this year, and Courtney 16 who attends Godley High School. My hobbies include playing golf as much as my schedule and wife permits, seeing U2 in concert as much as I can afford, and traveling...to play golf and see U2.I was born and raised in San Angelo, Texas and graduated from San Angelo Central High School. I graduated from Angelo St. University in 1987 with a Bachelors of Science degree. I started my career at Bastrop High School in the fall of 1987 as the junior varsity basketball coach. I took my first head coaching job in 1991 at Santo High School and stayed there for three years. From Santo, I went to Smithville in Bastrop County as the head coach there. Then I went to Graford in 1997 as the Athletic Director and Head Boys Basketball coach. We had the great fortune of going to the State Final Four at the Frank Erwin Center in Austin in the 1999-2000 season. From Graford, I moved on to Godley and stayed for seven years. We had four teams go to the Region 2 tournament in those seven years. Then for three years, at Mineral Wells as the head coach there. I have coached and taught some great kids in my 26 years. The students and athletes have done some really good things, won alot of games, and created some life-long memories. The same has been happening here at Granbury as well. Let's have a great Pirate year!!My teaching assignment the 2013-14 year is two courses in Government per semester and World History. I'm treading new waters with the World History...first time to teach it in over twenty years. This is my 15th year to teach Government.
