Four Pirate Basketball playershave decided to continue their education and playing career at Howard Payne University in Brownwood next season.

 

Daniel Bubel, Kanyon Payne, Ross Whittet, and Grant Young made their announcements on May 13, 2009.  The four are graduating seniors.

 

The Howard Payne Yellow Jackets compete in the American Southwest Conference, a part of the NCAA Division III.

 

The students are pictured above with their parents and Pirate Basketball head coach Steve Smith.
