The Granbury Optimist Club awarded 35 scholarships to Hood County high school seniors at the club's breakfast ceremony on Tuesday, May 9, 2023.
The 29 Granbury High School seniors receiving scholarships from the Granbury Optimist Club were Amy Hernandez, Diorlan Granados Duran, Lydia Strickland, Isabella Vazquez, Citlaly Rodriguez, Marisol Coronilla, Julia Vargas Madonado, Annabel Dikes, Krizln Van Patten, Gene Williams, Cooper Sanderson, Claudia Morales, Carolina Espinosa Garcia, Adee Gonzalez, Dylan Livingston, Jordan Scott Buchanan, Cameron Lee Kokot, Tessa Schulte, Abiah Wark, Katherine Wood, Gavin Logsdon, Claire Burdett, Perla S. Martinez, Preston Beauchamp, Hailey Golen, Daisy Villafranco, Jayton Glenn, Saphyre Sneed, and Braydon Olthoff.
"Generous donations to our club made the scholarships possible, and we thank all those who worked hard to award these amazing students. We congratulate these deserving students and wish them the best in their future success," shared a representative from the Granbury Optimist Club.
