Granbury ISD Board of Trustees named Melissa Shipp as the next campus principal of the STEAM Academy at Mambrino.

Shipp currently serves as an assistant principal at Baccus Elementary School and will move to the principal role over the summer.

Mrs. Shipp is familiar to Granbury ISD families as she has previously served as a classroom teacher and instructional specialist at Oak Woods School and instructional specialist and assistant principal at Baccus Elementary School. Shipp has 21 years of experience in education between Granbury ISD and Fort Worth ISD. 

Melissa is married to her husband, Scott, and together they have two children who attend Granbury High School.
