MOLINARI NAMED WFAA SCHOLAR-ATHLETE
February 18, 2020
Granbury High School senior Gage Molinari was recently named Scholar-Athlete of the Week by Dallas sportscaster Dale Hansen.
Molinari is a member of the Pirate Basketball team but also has played team tennis and golf and run cross country. He is also a member of the National Honor Society.
The GHS senior was the graphic designer for Synergy Racing, the F1 in Schools team that advanced to the World Finals in Abu Dhabi last November. He previously competed with Torrent Racing.
A segment featuring Molinari will air on Sunday, February 23 during “Dale Hansen’s Sports Special,” which airs on WFAA Channel 8 on Sunday nights following the 10:00 P.M. newscast.
The program recognizes North Texas high school seniors who have excelled in academics and athletics as well as contribute to making their community a better place to live. Nominees must be a senior who is in the top 15% of their class.
