GEF SCHOLAR ATHLETES ELIGIBLE FOR BIG SCHOLARSHIP
April 27, 2020
Twenty-six Granbury High School seniors have been named GEF Scholar Athletes by the Granbury ISD Education Foundation and are now eligible to apply for a $10,000 scholarship sponsored by Tom and Susan Durant.

The students were selected not only for their involvement in GHS athletics but also for their academic achievements. They also represent a cross-section of high school athletic teams.
“We are grateful for the generous donations made by Mr. and Mrs. Durant,” commented GEF president Stacy Mitchell. The Durants own a number of car dealerships and are also involved in Thoroughbred horse racing.
All of the students were recently invited to submit scholarship applications in the spring. A winner will be announced at a later date.
