SEVEN ANNOUNCE COLLEGE PLANS ON GHS FALL SIGNING DAY
November 30, 2021
Seven Granbury High School student athletes announced college plans during Fall College Signing Day on November 29, 2021, in the James Wann Sports Center.
Announcing their college plans were:
- Ellie Alexander – women’s volleyball at the University of Texas at Tyler
- Sarah Folsom – rifle at the United States Military Academy at West Point
- Ty Holbrook – men’s golf at Colorado University
- Joyce Kimberlee – volleyball at Howard Payne University
- Mason Lewis – women’s golf at the University of North Texas
- Tyler Sudderth – baseball at Tarleton State University
- Matthew Walters – baseball at Cornell University
Competing in NCAA Division I athletics are the Army West Point Black Knights (Great American Rifle Conference), Colorado Buffaloes (PAC-12), Cornell (Ivy League), North Texas Eagles (Conference USA), and Tarleton Texans (Western Athletic Conference). UT Tyler Patriots compete in NCAA Division II as part of the Lone Star Conference, while the Howard Payne Yellowjackets are members of the American Southwest Conference in NCAA Division III.
Joining the student athletes were parents, family members, coaches, and teammates.
