Granbury Pirate golfer Tanner Larsen competed at the UIL state golf tournament on May 9-10, 2022, at White Wing Golf Club in Georgetown.

Larsen shot 162 (80-82) over the two-day tourney.

A GHS sophomore, Larsen advanced from the Region I-5A meet in Lubbock after placing fourth individually, earning his state bid. The Pirates finished sixth as a team.

At the district tournament in March, the Pirates placed second.  Larsen was district champion after placing first individually.
