Lyndsey Sager, who recently completed her sophomore year at Granbury High School, was the first-prize winner in a human rights art competition sponsored by the Texas School Counseling Association.

 

Sager was only one of two state-wide winners in the high school division of the contest, which centered on the theme “Celebrating Our Differences.”

 

The competition allowed for two-dimensional pieces drawn horizontally with markers, tempera paint, acrylic paint, pen, or ink, according to art teacher Kayla Bennett.
