Top students in the Acton Middle School bands recently received
awards for the 2014-15 school year.
Exceptional Band Member awards went to eighth grader Ian Cone
(honors band) and seventh grader Austin Sommerfeld (symphonic band).
The other awards were:
- Honors Band: Outstanding Brass – Caden Ahler; Outstanding Woodwind – Savannah Oliver; Outstanding Percussion – Cole Stephens
- Symphonic Band: Outstanding Brass – Tyler Streeter; Outstanding Woodwind – Makayla Doucet; Outstanding Percussion – Trevor Dawson
- Beginner Band: Outstanding Brass – Ashlyn Bednarz; Outstanding Woodwind – Megan Bednarz; Outstanding Percussion – Sarah Wood
