The Granbury High School choir and theater arts honor society have elected officers for the 2014-15 school year.
Dakota Medlin, an incoming senior, will lead both the choir council and the GHS chapter of the International Thespian Society. He is pictured at left.
Other choir council members are: Deanna Rupp, vice president; Zach Zagrocki, secretary; Nikolai Press, treasurer; Kiersten Mathis, historian; Ciera Kade, librarian.
In addition to Medlin, thespian officers for next school year are: Baylee Davis, vice president; Faith Melton, secretary; Kiersten Mathis, treasurer.
The choir council provides invaluable support to directors Joy Hope and Greg Doss and booster club members throughout the school year, aiding with competitions, concerts, the musical, and other events. The officers also assist with several behind-the-scenes duties to ensure the overall program runs smoothly.
The International Thespian Society is a student honorary organization that recognizes the achievements of high school theater students. Since 1929, over two million students have been inducted into the society. Society members assist directors with the high school theater program.
