Granbury High School choirs all earned sweepstakes honors at UIL concert and sightreading contest on April 11-12, 2017, at Weatherford High School.

 

The mixed varsity, men’s varsity, and women’s varsity ensembles all won sweepstakes by receiving Division I superior ratings in both concert and sightreading performances.

 

Acton Middle School and Granbury Middle School choirs competed in March at Aledo. Earning sweepstakes with the top rating from all judges in both portions were the AMS varsity girls, AMS varsity boys, and the GMS varsity girls. GMS varsity boys received a Division I on stage and a Division II excellent rating in sightreading.  The AMS non-varsity ensembles for both boys and girls received Division I ratings for sightreading and Division II ratings for concert performance.
