STEAM Academy at Mambrino will present the musical Willy Wonka KIDS on Thursday, May 9, 2019, at 6:30 P.M. 

Roald Dahl's Willy Wonka KIDS follows enigmatic candy manufacturer Willy Wonka as he stages a contest by hiding golden tickets in five of his scrumptious candy bars. Whomever comes up with these tickets will win a free tour of the Wonka factory, as well as a lifetime supply of candy. Four of the five winning children are insufferable brats, but the fifth is a likeable young lad named Charlie Bucket, who takes the tour in the company of his equally amiable grandfather. The children must learn to follow Mr. Wonka's rules in the factory – or suffer the consequences. 

Leading the cast are Rachael Jones as Willy Wonka and Graham Ramos as Charlie Bucket. 

Others in the cast are Nicholas Bevills, Marlee Burton, Alexander Daugherty, Andrew Debello, Estrella Diaz, Brayden Hart, Jolie Hayes, Jayla Hayes, Ryder Labarbera, Bren Molinari, Sierra Morisette, Lane Purser, Emily Richmond, Samantha Ross, Zach Sedgwick, Cami Sefcik, Cy Tennery, Addison Weiss, and Lauren Wilson. 

Ensemble members are Kynlee Aparicio, Riley Boykin, Emily Cote, Aleah Goode, Wyatt Greene, Londyn Greene-Wright, Callie Hampton, Katelyn Hibbitt, Carley Hill, Ariel Jimenez, McKenna Moreno, Ryan Ramos, Ziva Sedgwik, Dylan Shields, Eden Stone, Molly Thompson, and Ellie Weeks. 

Tech crew members are Ava Akins. Shelby Beech, Meredith Jones, and Catelynn Suth.  

Directing the production are Gaylene Carpenter and Sharon Daughtery.  Others on the musical staff are Debbie Akins, Jennifer Avery, Tina Barlow, Sheridan Coleman, Crystal Cote, Jessie Greene, Jairo Martinez, Tami Miller, Bonnie Oates, Nicole Perriello, Melissa Pratt, Leah Sherrill, and Emily Shigut. 

Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for students.
