November 14, 2019 

Fourteen students from Acton Middle School and Granbury Middle School were selected for the All-Region Band during tryouts held November 7 and 9, 2019, at Trinity Springs Middle School in Keller and Aledo High School. 

The group was among several hundred junior high and middle school students competing in TMEA Region 30. 

Students qualifying for the region band were: Abby Boyd, flute; Mackenzie Callaway, oboe; Blake Dennis, French horn; Zachary Layland, bass clarinet; Maren Kesinger, percussion; Jeff Lenard, tuba; Cameron Magat, flute; Kate Mauldin, trumpet; Ethan Mayes, trumpet; Cadence Morisette, flute; Ivan Perez, clarinet; Joshua Roath, trumpet; Anna Sommerfeld, clarinet; Abby Stone, oboe. 

The All-Region Band clinic and concert will be December 6-7 at Granbury High School.
