December 21, 2020 

Sixteen students from Acton Middle School and Granbury Middle School were selected for the All-Region Band after virtual tryouts in December 2020. 

The group was among several hundred junior high and middle school students competing in TMEA Region 30. 

Students qualifying for the region band were: 

• Honors Band:  James Barber, trumpet; Grace Jimenez, flute; Maren Kesinger, percussion; Cameron Magat, flute; Nathan Walters, tuba
• Wind Symphony:  Lily Barto, clarinet; Robby Castaneda, trumpet; Braelyn Desormeaux, bassoon; Scarlett Farner, trombone; Wyatt Green, percussion; Jana Kim, flute; Wesley Kitching, trumpet; Malynia Miller-Trestain, clarinet; Aiden Page, French horn; Gisel Ramirez, flute; Reagan Welch, euphonium

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there will be no region clinic and concert this year. 

Students are under the direction of:  AMS – April Page and Stephanie Bosch; GMS – Michele Kahne and Ben Holmes.
