District Advisory Committee Meeting

Minutes

Meeting was called at 4:30 P.m. by Dr. Largent, Superintendent, with introductions of district staff and community members.

Dr. Largent, welcomed the members, gave an update on the completion of the High School, the Bond wrap up, and opened up questions to the committee members.

Mr. Holmgreen went over the meaning and intent of “District of Innovation,” the process, and explained the Sub committees.

Sharon Williams will head First Day of Instruction, Class Size, and Notice to Parents.

Jimmy Dawson will head Student Discipline CBC, and Teacher/Principal Evaluations.

Robert Herrera will head Waivers for ESL Cert., and Length of Instructional Day.

Aimee Tolleson will head Teacher Cert..

And Wes Jones will head Probationary Contracts, and Retire/Rehire Mim. Salaries.

Meeting adjourned at 5:05 to allow members to sign up.
