Affinity F1 Racing, the F1 in Schools team at
Granbury High School, is hosting a 5K Glow Run on Friday, July 24, 2015.
The festivities will kick off at Tidwell Field, the
baseball stadium located behind GHS. Registration will begin at 8:00 P.M. with
the race following at 9:00 P.M.
Participants will run down Howard Clemmons Road to
Crossland Road and then on to Crossland Ninth Grade Center before returning to
the baseball stadium.
The registration fee is $25 for individuals and $15
for students. Teams composed of at least
five members may register with a fee of $20 per person. T-shirts are also available at $5 for runners
and $15 for the public. Online
registration and other information are posted on the Affinity F1 website at www.affinityf1.com.
Proceeds
benefit the GHS team’s trip to Singapore in September for the 2015 World Finals
as one of two teams representing the United States. The students won the national championship in
May at the Michigan International Speedway.
