A Granbury High School robotics team is headed to state competition after winning the Region 2 Vex Robotics Tournament on February 6, 2021, in Wichita Falls. 

Brut3 4rce was the second seed team in the finals and won the championship round at the “Rumble in the Falls” with the record of 8-1. 

Team members are Mason Clark, Caleb Hammond, David Quist, and Matthew Shute.  

“The students have worked together as a team striving for success while helping new teams every chance that came along,” commented team sponsor Angela Jumper. “They are the definition of sportsmanship and great Granbury Pirates.” 

The State VEX Championship is set for April 9-10 in Redwater.
