May 25, 2021

Mambrino Adaptive PE

Granbury High School engineering students spent time giving back to younger students in the Partner PEEPS program at the STEAM Academy at Mambrino on May 19, 2021.

The Mambrino program is led by physical education teacher Deidre Zschiesche with the goal to partner disabled and non-disabled peers by providing them a safe environment to increase gross motor and fine motor skills. In the process of introducing new activities to these students, they also build positive social relationships with students different from themselves.

With the help of community sponsor Van Griffith Kia, the GHS career and technical education students engineered cars and nerf guns for students with limited mobility.
