Digital Learning Day was a hit with students at
Mambrino School on February 17, 2016.
The technology focus had students using Google Docs
and other applications to learn how to and collaborate to create various
digital graphics and videos.
Grade level groups had various tasks with
kindergarteners and first graders creating picturing in Google Drawings. Second and third graders used WeVideo to
create class videos, while fourth graders developed infographics in Google
Drawings.
In Granbury ISD, technology is a major part of the G2020
strategic plan with objectives to increase skills among students and to equip
them for a technology-driven society. The
2013 bond initiative is investing $10.8 million for model classrooms,
technology devices, and infrastructure in GISD schools.
