The Granbury Lady Pirates fell to Grapevine in the Class 5A bi-district playoffs on November 19, 2020, at Saginaw Chisholm Trail High School.
Granbury won the first two games (25-22, 25-21), but the Lady Mustangs persevered in the final three games (25-22, 25-16, 15-8) to claim the match and advance to the area round against either Mansfield Timberview or Saginaw.
Varsity players are Ellie Alexander, Carly Barton, Landry Basil, Kylie Hagan, Emma Hart, Kadi Hickey, Kimberlee Joyce, Kaylee Kirkland, Kassidy Kirkpatrick, Trinity Matthews, Kaitlyn McCabe, Gracie Nichols, Christen Nichols, LoLo Schroeder, Georgia Sims, Courtney Smith, Sara Welch, and Lilli Williams.
Head coach Desiree Shahan is assisted by Alex Oppenborn, Clarissa Anderson, Katie Cowan, Kristin Murray, and athletic trainer Connie Rhodes. Team managers are Hanna Drake, Tristan Huddleston, and Makai Scott.
