Granbury
school board trustees honored the Marine Corps JROTC unit at Granbury High
School and Crossland Ninth Grade Center for being named a Naval Honor School. The recognition came at the school board
meeting on September 21, 2015.
Of the
250 schools throughout the nation, only ten percent of Marine Corps JROTC
programs received this recognition. The
Granbury unit, which was one of ten in the 55-school region selected for the
honor, was also recognized last year.
