GHS NAMES TOP TEN FOR CLASS OF 2016

Granbury High School announced the top ten students for the Class of 2016. Class rankings were finalized after the conclusion of the fifth six weeks grading period and announced on April 20, 2016.

Sarah Schloeman and Kaylee Keating will represent the senior class as valedictorian and salutatorian. Others in the top ten of the graduating class are Craig Knisley, Joshua Smith, Kiersten Mathis, Clay Walters, Lauren Wood, Makenna Martin, Lillian Thornton, and Hannah Robinson.

With less than a month left in the school year, the class is making preparations for graduation at 7:00 P.M. on Friday, May 27 at the Fort Worth Convention Center.

A baccalaureate service sponsored by the Granbury Ministerial Alliance is set for 3:00 P.M. on Sunday, May 22 in the GHS Bagby-McMahan Performing Arts Center.

Awards and scholarships will be announced during a special evening event on Thursday, May 19. The Senior Awards Program will begin at 7:00 P.M. in the GHS Bagby-McMahan Performing Arts Center.
