Homecoming Court  
Granbury High School has announced the 2016 Homecoming Court.
King nominees are Joseph Bokor, Anthony Castillo, Jordan King, Glenn Rodgers, Dakota Stephens, and Corbin Weeks.  Queen candidates are Racheal Barrow, Madison Everage, Morgan Molder, Addison Purdy, Andi Smith, and Emily Williams.
Homecoming festivities will be October 3-7 with the theme of “Destination Victory.”
The Homecoming parade will begin at 7:00 P.M. on Monday, October 3. The parade will be staged at Decker Field and will proceed from Hannaford Street west down Pearl Street to the high school.  A spirit rally and fireworks display will follow at Pirate Stadium beginning at about 8:00 P.M.
On Friday, October 7, a building dedication and alumni reception will be held from 5:30-6:30 P.M. in the school cafeteria. The Lady Pirate volleyball team will host Joshua at 5:30 P.M. in the James Wann Sports Center. Kickoff for the Granbury-Joshua football game will be at 7:30 P.M.
During halftime festivities, the Homecoming Queen will be crowned. Also to be recognized will be the Coming Home Queen. The Homecoming King will be announced during a morning pep rally earlier that day.
