CRIMINAL JUSTICE STUDENTS HEAR PRESENTATION

Granbury High School CTE Criminal Justice students heard a presentation from Dick Garner, a retired Chief of the Special Operations Division for The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF).

Mr. Garner's presentation included sharing his experiences from throughout his career.  Garner investigated some of the most nationally known cases, including the Unabomber, Oklahoma City Bombing and David Koresh with the Branch Davidian Compound in Waco. Garner worked closely with US Astronaut and former Senator John Glenn, improving certain laws to better protect us all against terror-related crimes.  Garner also provided Presidential Protective Detail as an ATF Agent to Ronald Reagan, Gerald Ford and Jimmy Carter.
