Granbury High School Pirate Debate students participated in a two-day debate tournament in San Angelo.  

The results from the November 11 competition were as follows: 

Extemporaneous Speaking

• Perry Quillen - Semifinalist
• Katie Morrison - Semifinalist
• Scarlett Farner - Semifinalist

LD Debate Results

• Lexi Scarpello - Quarterfinalist
• Lauren Lee - Quarterfinalist

The results from the November 12 competition were as follows:   

Extemporaneous Speaking

• Noa Penrod - Semifinalist

Congressional Debate

• Noa Penrod - 8th Place

LD Debate

• Lauren Lee - Quarterfinalist & TOP SPEAKER

Prose Interp

• Brylea Hyde - 4th place
• Taylor LIffner - 5th place
