Your Lady Pirates competed in the 2022 JROTC Postal Tuesday evening in hopes of qualifying for the JROTC Service Championships match in February.

Granbury MCJROTC has fielded two teams in the past two years for this competition and won the first place spot five years in a row since 2018.

Seven shooters: Caroline Martin, Ashton Arlington, Kameron Wells, Sunnee Schumann, Mataya Turner, Kennedy Wells, and Julia Czernik auto qualified for the event with scores of 298, 296, 295, 290, 289, and 287 respectively. 

The rest of the team: Cadince McGrath, Ainsley Milligan, Viola Allen, Caylynn Price, and Kaylenn Jackson shot scores of 283, 281, 280, 272, and 266 respectively. 

Granbury MCJROTC is currently leading the pack in the precision team category with an 1183 -87x, and Caroline Martin is currently leading in the precision individual category with a 298 -26x (as of 17 Nov.)

Postal scores are due by 29 November and Marine Corps scores are final by 2 December.  Marine Corps Service Championships will be at the CMP South Range in Anniston, Alabama 2-4 February.
