ANNOUNCEMENTS

 

FOOTLOOSE: Travel back to the 80's during the upcoming GHS theater musical "Footloose" set for May 1-3 in the GHS Bagby-McMahan Performing Arts Center.  Friday and Saturday evening performances will be at 7pm, while matinees on Saturday and Sunday will be at 3pm.  Tickets are $10 for adults and $6 for students.  To reserve tickets, please call (817) 964-2542.

SATURDAY GARAGE SALE: GHS Pirate Band Boosters will host a garage sale tomorrow (Sat., Apr. 18) from 7am-2pm at the GISD Adminstration parking lot at 600 W. Pearl Street.

 

BAD WEATHER MAKEUP DAY: Mark your calendars. School will be in session on Monday, June 1.

 

BOND CONSTRUCTION PROGRESS: Follow GISD bond projects at www.granburyisd.org/bond for news, important documents (timeline and financial recap), and other information related to these projects which include transforming GHS, enhancing career and technical education and fine arts programs, building a robust technology infrastructure for model classrooms, improving campus safety and security, and many other improvements.

GHS/CNGC Track - District 8-5A Meet

April 15-16, 2015 - Six GHS tracksters qualified for area during Day 2 of the District 8-5A track and field meet on Thursday in Burleson. Advancing are Lady Pirates Gabbie Nunn and Jettin Murphy in the high jump and Tiffany Henney and Rachael Perriello in the 800m along with Pirates Jarod Adcock in the long jump and Dillon Graham in the high jump. GHS Boys Golf - Region I-5A Tournament

April 15-16, 2015 - Pirate golfer Davis McDuff shot a 78 on Thursday to finish the Region I-5A tournament with a total score of 154 and eighth place overall. The GHS senior advanced as a medalist after placing fifth at the district tourney last week in Glen Rose. McDuff's regional play at The Rawls Course at Texas Tech qualified him for All-Region second team honors, according to GHS head coach Steve Ward.Read Full Story »
