Pirates def. Crowley 4-3 in seventh inning showdown during districtbaseball battle on Friday night at Tidwell Field for last regular season game.

The Pirates seize victory thanks to late bases loaded walk, drop Crowley (TX) 4-3
The Pirates and Crowley traded the lead seven times on Friday, but the Pirates ended up on top with a 4-3 win in seven innings over Crowley.
The Pirates pulled out the win thanks to a strong seventh inning. A bases loaded walk scored Chance Turney and gave the Pirates the lead for good.
Landon Weatherly reached base three times. He also drove in one runner. He doubled in the first inning and singled in the sixth inning.
Bryce Foutz got the win in relief for the Pirates. Foutz pitched two innings and allowed one run.
#24 couldn't get it done on the mound for Crowley , taking a loss. He lasted just six innings, walked four, struck out nine, and allowed three runs.
The top of the first saw Crowley take an early lead, 1-0. Crowley got things going when #5 singled.
Crowley scored one run in the fifth inning, and then followed it up with one more in the seventh. In the fifth, Crowley scored on an RBI double by #8, scoring #9.
It didn't take long for the Pirates to answer as they scored one run of their own in the fifth. The Pirates scored on.
The Pirates scored two runs of their own in the seventh.
