Granbury High School cheerleaders won big at the Universal Cheerleading Association Camp at Great Wolf Lodge in Grapevine on May 28-31, 2018.

The team won the coveted “Top Banana” honor for displaying leadership and an overwhelming amount of spirit each day.  Both the varsity and JV squads earned Blue Superior recognition for sideline evaluation, Gold Superior recognition for cheer evaluation and rally routine, and two spirit sticks.

“Pin It Forward” recognition was given to Emma Grace Brown and Autumn McKee, who were selected by UCA camp staff, and Gracie Bolton and Kayman Legan, who were chosen by other cheerleaders.

All American honors went to varsity squad members Avery Bramlett, Emma Grace Brown, Tristen Gillespie-Hull, Caitlyn Hyman, Kayman Legan, and Baylee Twigg as well as JV team members Lillie Davis and Malakye Harris.

The varsity is led by captain Kayman Legan and co-captains Emma Grace Brown, Autumn McKee, and Baylee Twigg.  Others on the lead squad are Madison Bills, Gracie Bolton, Halle Brady, Avery Bramlett, Abby Briley, Hailee Brown, Halli Eagle, Tristen Gillespie-Hull, Skyler Hammer, Caitlin Hyman, Madeline Koiner, Raegan Porter, Jaydin Riley, Abbie Roop, Scout Skaggs, Paityn Stone, and Elise Wilkinson.

JV cheerleaders are Scout Akers, Aryane Clark, Lillie Davis , Bridgette Gray, Malakye Harris, Kenlee Hubble, Breanna Johnson, Neesa McGuire, Georgia Myers, McKenna Pack, Mackenzie Smith, Jessica Rhyne, and Alyssa Stovall.
