GISD SEEKING INPUT ON G2025 STRATEGIC PLAN

January 17, 2019

G2025

Granbury ISD school board trustees and superintendent Dr. Jeremy Glenn are asking parents, students, community members, and school employees to complete a survey regarding the G2025 strategic planning initiative.

The survey is open now through Friday, February 1, 2019, at www.granburyisd.org/G2025 and available in both English and Spanish.

The district will also hold focus group meetings on Monday, February 4 to receive input from parents and the public.  Attendees have a choice of two meeting times at 10:00 A.M. and 5:30 P.M.  Both will be held at the GISD Administration Building at 217 N. Jones Street.

Strategic planning will establish district goals for the next several years in academics, career and technical education, extracurricular programs, facilities, finance, personnel, and technology.

The collaborative process is designed to build shared beliefs, vision, mission, and priorities utilizing input from a variety of constituents with the objective to clarify goals through constructive discussions and dialogue.

Following the collection of all data and input, a strategic design team will be appointed to construct specific strategic goals and action steps.  The final proposal is expected to be presented to the school board in May.
