Granbury High School student Olivia Iturralde, a member of the GHS Stowaways dance and drill team, announced her plans to join the Texan Stars dance team at Tarleton State University on May 28, 2021, in the GHS dance studio. 

For almost fifty years, the Texan Stars have been an integral part of Tarleton and one of the most recognized student organizations on the Stephenville campus. The Stars were formed in the spring of 1974 and the precision dance team has had a tradition of excellence and perfection ever since. 

A 2021 GHS graduate, Iturralde served as senior lieutenant for the 34th Stowaway Line during the 2020-21 school year.
