Advanced Graphic Design and Illustration classes learn advanced skills in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator while demonstrating an understanding of the graphic design standards that are used in the industry. Student focus on advanced elements and principles of visual art and design while using their own digital photography to create numerous graphics projects.

In addition, the advanced students create a digital portfolio that can be used for opportunities in employment or post-secondary education. Some also participate in various community projects designing professional publications and graphics. The course allows some students to obtain professional certification.
