NEW CADET LEADERSHIP INSTALLED FOR JROTC

The Granbury Marine Corps JROTC named its cadet leadership for the 2017-18 school year during a ceremony on May 4, 2017, at Granbury High School.
 
Serving as battalion commander will be Cadet Lt. Colonel Tamara Peters.  The executive officer will be Cadet Major Trinity Hathaway, and the Sergeant Major will be Cadet Sgt. Major Cody Reynolds.
 
The three cadets received their new rank during the ceremony led by Lt. Col. Scott Casey, the Senior Marine Instructor, and First Sergeant Johnny Rositas.
 
Others in the staff will be Cadet 2nd Lieutenant Megan Thompson, S-1 administration officer; Cadet 2nd Lieutenant Brittney Pinckard, S-2 recruiting officer; Cadet Captain Joseph Dandridge, S-3 operations officer; Cadet 2nd Lieutenant Rylee Holderness, S-4 logistics officer.  Company commanders will be Cadet Captain Brandon Marriott for Alpha Company and Cadet Captain Preston Schroeder for Bravo Company.
 
“This is a great group of cadets, and we are looking forward to a very excitation year under the leadership of our new battalion staff,” commented Col. Casey.
