Granbury
FFA and FCCLA students from Granbury High School visited the State Fair of
Texas in Dallas during Agricultural Awareness Day on October 6, 2015.
The
group joined many student organizations from throughout the state representing FCCLA,
FFA, and 4-H. Activities include a
scavenger hunt to make the experience fun and educational.
Future
Farmers of America makes a positive difference in the lives of students by
developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth, and career
success through agricultural education. The program is part of a three-part
model of education that consists of classroom instruction, supervised
agricultural experiences, and the FFA. The student organization provides
members the opportunity for leadership experience and competitions,
scholarships, and personal opportunities for involvement.
Family,
Career and Community Leaders of America is a national student organization that
helps young men and women become leaders and address important personal,
family, work, and societal issues through family and consumer sciences
education.
