SCIENCE AND HISTORY FAIR, SPELLING BEE WINNERS RECOGNIZED AT SCHOOL BOARD MEETING

Granbury ISD winners of the district science and history fairs as well as the area spelling bee were recognized at the Granbury ISD school board meeting on February 16, 2015.
 
Spelling Bee
 
Alexander Call, a fifth grader at Oak Woods School, was honored for winning the Area Spelling Bee. Call (left) was introduced by principal Donnie Cody. Also recognized was runner-up Avery Coffman from Brawner Intermediate School.
 
Science Fair
 
District science fair Best of Show winners were recognized by their principals. Pictured are (left to right) Emma Roberson Elementary School kindergartener Jace Coffman with principal Kellie Lambert, Mambrino School fifth grader Jonah Martin with principal Dana Goode, and Granbury Middle School seventh grader Kyla Asante-Wiredu with principal Pat Yelverton. Not pictured is Crossland Ninth Grade Center student Rayni Skaggs.
