The Granbury ISD Education Foundation is hosting the 7th Annual 50 Fellas Foodfest on Saturday, October 19, 2019, from 6:00-8:30 P.M. at the Granbury Reunion Grounds’ Courts Cleveland Showbarn.
The adult event will feature fifty teams of two men who will prepare and serve an appetizer, entrée, or dessert of their choice in small one-bite samples. Adult beverages, tea, and water will be included.
Food will be judged by popular vote of those in attendance.
Cooks range from district administrators and men from each school campus to elected officials and businessmen in the community, according to organizers Holly Martin and Michelle Lucero.
Tickets are $60 each and must be purchased or reserved in advance. Only 700 tickets will be sold for the event. Sponsorships are available. Proceeds benefit the education foundation, which will fund innovative teaching grants and the annual academic recognition banquet.
