SCHOOL TRUSTEES HONOR GISD NURSES FOR WORK DURING PANDEMIC

March 23, 2021

Granbury ISD School Nurses

Granbury ISD school board trustees honored campus nurses for hard work during the COVID-19 pandemic during the regular monthly meeting on March 22, 2021.

Trustees and GISD superintendent Dr. Jeremy Glenn presented each nurse with a new jacket to recognize the extra effort each has made to ensure that students and staff are kept safe.

School nurses have played an integral part in the district’s COVID-19 protocols but also in the overall operation of campuses as the schools have welcomed students back to in-person instruction after the school building shutdown in Spring 2020.

Since December, nurses also have administered a rapid testing program available to all students and staff.

Granbury ISD school nurses are:  Tracy Ashmore, Acton Middle School; Lauren Bruner, Granbury Middle School; Amber Campbell, Roberson Elementary School; Ronda Herrin, Brawner Intermediate School; Taylor Marcel, Acton Elementary School; Kim McLeod, Oak Woods School; Jesse Moore, Baccus Elementary School; Elizabeth Perchard, STEAM Academy at Mambrino.
