ASSISTANT PRINCIPALS HONORED DURING NATIONAL OBSERVANCE

Granbury ISD schools are observing National Assistant Principals Week on April 8-12, 2019.
The national designation comes from the National Association of Elementary School Principals and the National Association of Secondary School Principals to honor the contribution of assistant principals to the success of student in schools across the United States.
“Assistant principals work tirelessly to further the academic success and well-being of each student and adult in their learning community,” according to the organizations. “Often times, these individuals are the unsung heroes in our schools. During this week, we can all reflect and call attention to the critical role assistant principals play in supporting school and student performance.”
GISD assistant principals are:
Granbury High School – Dina Carlton, Jimmy Heffernan, Dale Hunt, Patti Sanderson
Acton Middle School – Kristie Berryman, John Dafoe
Granbury Middle School – Jeff Berryman, Bucky Wood
Acton Elementary School – Karla Willmeth
Baccus Elementary School – DeAnna Payne
Brawner Intermediate School – Leslie Ghiglieri
Mambrino School – Denisa Mendel
Oak Woods School – Chelsey Gibson
Roberson Elementary School – Laura Meek
