An egg drop project allowed first graders at the STEAM Academy at Mambrino to learn about physics on April 12, 2019.
The activity challenges the students to design a contraption using various materials – including recyclables – to protect a raw egg from a high fall.
The inventive ideas were largely successful, as most eggs remained intact after the fall from several dozen feet.
Teachers Stacey Dudley and Kati Reolfi launched the student projects from the roof of the school.
