DESSERT BAR THEATRE COMING TO GHS ON DECEMBER 18
Advanced theater arts students at Granbury High School will perform selected scenes from notable plays during Dessert Bar Theatre at 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday, December 18, 2012, in the GHS Bagby-McMahan Performing Arts Center.
The first portion of performances in the black box theatre-style will be student-directed and will come from two short plays written by high school students, according to GHS theater arts director Phil Groeschel.
During the second act, there will be scenes from classic plays including Arsenic and Old Lace, Death of a Salesman, The Diary of Anne Frank, Of Mice and Men, Proof, and Steel Magnolias.
The players will be Teresa Amador, Sheridan Baze, Brigette Bean, Blake Bergeman, David Broberg, Victoria Castaneda, Preston Chapman, Hunter Glenn, Danya Gonnella, Cameo Gonzales, Hailey Hart, Simon Hutchison, Megan Jackson, Tori King, Madeline Maldonado, Alora Richards, Ashton Rohn, Daniel Stowe, Mariya Swann, Tori Townsend, Cassandra Tervino, Natalie Willingham, Izzy Woods, and Bailey Youngs.
