Several Granbury FFA members and Marine Corps JROTC cadets were recognized at the Granbury ISD school board meeting on September 16, 2013.
Granbury FFA members were honored for both chapter and individual achievements. Students recognized were Balie Ashmore, Megan Baker, Terry Barrington, Colten Bison, Luke Elliott, Millie Loftin, Kailey Mabery, Madison Miller, Shyla Quinlan, Erin Reese, Ty Robertson, Savanna Shelnutt, Sam Spradlin, Emmelee Whitefield, and Kena Williams. Introducing the students were agricultural science teachers Trey Keys and Shaina Seabourn.
A Marine Corps JROTC color guard presented the United States and Texas flags at the beginning of the meeting. Pictured are the cadets (left to right) Jacob Fleshman, Cody Vasquez, Valen Webb, and Stephen Schofield.
