CHOIR DAZZLES CROWD WITH ‘50’S DINNER THEATER

September 30, 2013

It was a trip back to sock hops and the beginning of Rock and Roll on September 28, 2013, as choir students from Granbury High School and Crossland Ninth Grade Center performed a “Let’s Go to the Hop” dinner theater to a huge crowd at the GHS Bagby-McMahan Performing Arts Center.

The choir, under the direction of Joy Hope, performed several songs from the 1950’s, including Rock Around the Clock, Don’t Be Cruel, Lollipop, Mister Sandman, Bye Bye, Love, and Unchained Melody.

Narrating was choir dad Mark Weeks. Instrumentalists were Christine Bridges, Greg Doss, and Tim Hope.
