FIVE CHOIR STUDENTS MAKE FINAL ALL-STATE AUDITION ROUND

Four choir students from Granbury High School and one from Crossland Ninth Grade Center recently advanced toward the final round of auditions to qualify for one of three all-state choirs.
Students advancing are: sophomore Baylee Davis, alto 2; freshman Brynn Deger, alto 1; sophomore Kiersten Mathis, alto 2; junior Deanna Rupp, soprano 1; sophomore Zach Zagrocki, bass 1.
The students qualified during pre-area auditions held November 23, 2013, at Burleson Centennial High School. Others competing were Cody Bridges, Makenzie Kane, Alondra Martinez, Dakota Medlin, Kaitlyn Meinsershagen, Cody Mullican, Kendon Parker, Tauton Puckett, Edward Ramirez, Joel Reid, Sofia Taylor, and Mercy Whites.
The group next travels to Midland for the final auditions, which will be held January 11, 2014, at Robert E. Lee High School.
